    VIZO361° Vision Agent

    ANPR Sentinel Agent

Reads vehicle number plates on existing cameras and gates access through your boom barrier — Latin and Arabic scripts, hardware-actuated, audit-logged.

THE PROEFFICO WAY · SOLVING IGNORED PROBLEMS

“A guard reads the plate, scribbles it down, waves them through.”Every plate read, matched and logged the instant it reaches the gate.

Everyone learns to live with the gap between “something happened” and “someone noticed.” We did not. Let the cameras do the watching and your people do the deciding — alerted the instant it matters, not hours later. From “that is just how it works” to “wait — it could work like this.”

    The Real Problem

Your gate is a human bottleneck — and a security gap.

Industrial gates, mall entries, and yard checkpoints share the same blind spots. No-one knows in real time how many vehicles are inside the site versus parked, which class of vehicle entered last, whether the same truck has done three turns this shift, or whether a banned plate just rolled through during a guard distraction. The register is paper. The decision-maker is a guard. The data is gone the moment the next vehicle arrives.

Worse, the bottleneck shows up exactly when it costs you the most. Peak hour at the mall — visitor counts shoot up at the entry while parking is already full. Peak shift at the factory gate — a fleet of trucks queues for entry while the guard waves the same plate-list at each. Peak return-flow at the yard — empty trucks pile up at exit because nobody is watching the in/out ratio.

And the GCC reality adds another layer: hot, dusty environments where guards rotate fast, plates carry mixed Latin / Arabic scripts, authority vehicles (police, civil defence, ambulance) need automatic priority, and mall management increasingly demands live count + display-board integration for the public-facing parking experience.

How ANPR Sentinel Agent Solves It

One Vision AI agent that sees every vehicle — counts it, classifies it, reads its plate, decides who gets in, opens the barrier, updates the display board.

ANPR Sentinel is more than a plate reader. It is the Vision AI agent for everything a vehicle does on your site. It runs continuously on your existing CCTV cameras at 4 MP or higher (per the VIZO361 datasheet) and combines four capabilities into one agent: vehicle counting, vehicle classification (car / SUV / truck / 2-wheeler / bus / emergency), vehicle tracking across multiple cameras, and ANPR (Latin + Arabic-script plates).

On every vehicle entry the agent decides in policy: lift the boom barrier for an approved plate, lock the gate for a blacklist, auto-route emergency vehicles with priority, and — critically — update the count immediately. The same agent then pushes the live count to your display board, your TMS / WMS / ERP, and your operations dashboard.

We deployed this combined capability for an Indian mall operator in 2025–26. The system counts every entering and exiting vehicle, classifies by class, and pushes the live occupancy count to the LED display board at the mall entrance — so visitors see real-time parking availability before they even enter. ANPR runs in parallel on the same cameras for security watchlist and tenant-vehicle priority. One Vision AI agent, one set of cameras, two outputs (count display + access control), zero new sensors.

Known limitations (from the VIZO361 datasheet): ANPR performance is affected by vehicle speed, dirty or damaged plates, and poor lighting. The agent will never lift the barrier for a plate it cannot read with confidence — fallback to guard or auto-reject is configured per deployment. Vehicle counting accuracy is affected by overlapping vehicles, dense queues, and obscured camera angles; site-specific count accuracy is benchmarked during the pilot.

How ANPR Sentinel Agent works — end-to-end

From the moment a frame leaves your camera to the moment your hardware reacts. No black box — every step explained.

    STEP 01

    Capture

Existing IP / analogue CCTV at the gate, ramp, or count line. 4 MP minimum (per the datasheet). Vision AI runs on the camera feed at the edge or in the cloud.

    STEP 02

    Detect + classify + track

Vision model detects each vehicle, classifies (car / SUV / truck / 2-wheeler / bus / emergency), tracks across the camera field with a persistent ID. Multi-camera handoff via re-identification.

    STEP 03

    OCR + confidence

Plate detected, cropped, OCR'd, confidence-scored. Latin (Indian HSRP, GCC, US, EU) and Arabic-script GCC plates supported.

    STEP 04

    Policy + count

Plate matched against approved list, blacklist, contractor list, parking quota, emergency list. Simultaneously, in/out counter updated by class and zone.

    STEP 05

    Hardware actuation

Approved → boom barrier lifts via dry-contact relay or controller API. Blacklist → gate lock + silent alert. Live count pushed to display board / parking-controller / dashboard / TMS / WMS / ERP.

    Hardware Actuation

Detection without action is just an alarm. We close the loop.

Every ANPR Sentinel Agent event can trigger your existing on-site hardware. Wired or wireless. PLC, contactor, BACnet, MQTT or webhook — your choice.

    ROI & Business Case

Replace the gate-check role, eliminate the paper count, give visitors a live signal at the entrance — all from cameras you already own.

Direct labour: a 24×7 manned gate is a meaningful annual cost in both India and the GCC. Replacing the gate-check function with ANPR Sentinel lets you redeploy the guard to active patrol — where they actually prevent incidents.

Visitor experience: at malls and multi-tenant parking, a live count + display-board telling visitors 'parking 78% full — overflow lot active' before they enter the ramp is a meaningful experience upgrade. It is also a measurable revenue protector — visitors who see the queue from the road, and divert to a competing mall, are revenue lost. The mall reference deployment Proeffico delivered uses exactly this loop.

Operational gains: per-class entry / exit counts allow load planning, staffing decisions, and tenant-billing accuracy. Hidden recoveries — at petrol pumps and toll deployments, customers routinely use ANPR Sentinel evidence to recover from insurance or pursue civil action. Specific outcomes are benchmarked during the pilot and shared in a signed pilot report.

ANPR Sentinel Agent vs the traditional way

Most facilities still run on the old playbook. Here's what changes.

    The traditional way

    • Guard reads plate manually, checks paper roster, lifts barrier on memory
    • Paper register — illegible, lost, only useful in hindsight
    • Visitors discover parking is full only after they enter the ramp
    • No vehicle-class data — staff vs. visitor vs. truck collapsed into one count
    • Blacklisted vehicles slip through during guard rotation
    • Ambulances and fire trucks wait at the same barrier as everyone else
    • Each site has its own approved list on a clipboard

    With ANPR Sentinel Agent

    • Camera reads plate, policy match, barrier opens with full audit trail
    • Searchable digital log with plate image, vehicle class and timestamps
    • Live count to the LED display board at the entrance — visitors decide before they queue
    • Per-class counts (car / SUV / truck / 2-wheeler / bus / emergency) on the same camera, in the same agent
    • Live blacklist enforced 24/7 — silent alert + gate lock on attempt
    • Auto-priority routing — emergency vehicles never wait. Priority flag logged for audit.
    • One master list propagated to all sites. New driver onboarded once, drives through all yards.

Questions buyers ask before they sign

Is this just ANPR, or does it count and classify vehicles too?

    +

Both. ANPR Sentinel is the Vision AI vehicle agent — it does counting, classification (car / SUV / truck / 2-wheeler / bus / emergency), tracking, AND ANPR on the same camera feed. The mall deployment Proeffico delivered uses the counting + display loop on the same hardware that runs ANPR for security.

Can it push the live count to a display board at the entrance?

    +

Yes. We integrate with standard LED-display controllers (Daktronics, Lighthouse, ALLSEE and custom protocols) and with variable-message-sign protocols. New display brands are integrated during the pilot — typically 1–3 days of engineering. Live count updates within seconds of each vehicle event.

How accurate is the vehicle counting?

    +

Per the datasheet, counting accuracy is affected by overlapping vehicles, dense queues, and obscured camera angles. Site-specific accuracy is benchmarked during the 30-day pilot — not published as a universal number. In our mall reference deployment, accuracy is documented in the signed pilot report (available under NDA).

Does ANPR work on cameras I already have?

    +

Usually yes for cameras correctly positioned at the gate. Datasheet requirement: 4 MP minimum and ANPR-suitable angle and lighting. We do a site survey first. Where existing cameras fall short, a single supplementary ANPR camera at the gate is recommended.

How does it read damaged or dirty plates?

    +

Per the datasheet, performance is affected by vehicle speed, dirty plates, and poor lighting. The system uses confidence scoring and never lifts the barrier for a plate it cannot read with confidence — falling back to guard or auto-reject as configured.

    What plate formats are supported?

    +

Latin (Indian HSRP, GCC, US, EU) and Arabic-script GCC plates. Customised formats (e.g. military, diplomatic, defence) can be added on request.

Can it integrate with our existing boom barrier?

    +

Yes — most barriers from Magnetic, FAAC, Came, Nice, BFT, Centurion, BPT and dozens more support either dry-contact relay control or controller-API integration. Confirmed during the site survey.

What about visitors who don't want their plates stored?

    +

Plate-data retention is configurable per deployment. Driver faces visible in frame can be auto-blurred at storage time. Aligned with DPDP (India), GDPR (EU) and Oman PDPL — including data-residency selection. The DPIA template is part of the deployment pack.

Can I run it without internet?

    +

Yes. The entire detect → count → policy → actuation loop runs on the edge GPU at the gate. Display-board updates can run over LAN. Internet is only required for cross-site master-list sync (when changes are made).

    What's the deployment timeline?

    +

Standard ANPR + counting + barrier at a single gate: approximately 3 working days. Adding a display-board integration: 3–7 days additional depending on display-controller protocol. Most customers run a 30-day pilot on 2 gates before scaling. Quote within 5 working days of discovery.
